Membership

We over 140 members of all ages and backgrounds from 37 countries.

The objectives of the IWC are:

To welcome and offer friendship and support to newcomers to Gothenburg.

To further members knowledge and understanding of Sweden and other cultures.

To foster goodwill and friendship among members of all countries through social and cultural activities.

To give financial and material support to charitable projects.

The membership year starts in September each year with the current membership fee set at 300 SEK per year with an initial joining fee of 50 SEK. The monthly luncheon and some other events have an extra cost. In addition to receiving the monthly bulletin, you will benefit from the Open Door, a worldwide women's network.
